Bush Warned of Iraq Challenges

Here is the biggest "I told you so" that I have heard in a long time... Bush was twice warned of Iraq challenges

From the Los Angeles Times

Prewar reports alerted the president to the difficulty of establishing democracy, among other assessments that proved accurate. Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman John D. Rockefeller IV (D-W.Va.), said the report demonstrated that "the intelligence community gave the administration plenty of warning about the difficulties we would face if the decision was made to go to war." He added: "These dire warnings were widely distributed at the highest levels of government, and it's clear that the administration didn't plan for any of them."

Too bad our President didn't heed this proverb...

Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety. Proverbs 11:14

I clearly remember saying back when Bush initiated the war, "Oh, NO. This is gonna be BAD. He's stirring up a hornet's nest and I guarantee the situation will be much worse in a few years." I am an ordinary housewife with no college degree. Why did I know this, yet our President didn't?
