Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Oh, did I mention that I have Irish roots? My great grandparents were born in Ireland in the mid 1800's and immigrated to the USA around 1887.

Read about The St. Patrick You Never Knew.

Find Celtic crosses like the one above on the Aon Celtic Art Website.

I love this...

Christ shield me this day:
Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every person who thinks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in the ear that hears me

~Saint Patrick, from his breastplate

You're Irish? Wouldn't know it from your picture. ::grin::

Hey Dorsey,

Thanks for dropping by.... Having red hair helps with the whole "I'm Irish!" thing, but I inherited my red hair through my great-great grandmother from Switzerland. As far as I know my Irish great grandparents didn't have red hair.

Anyway... looks like you have a bit 'o the Irish in you. Us redheads need to stick together, we only make up 2–3% of the US population... talk about a minority!

Hey, Kevin. I didn't realize you were posting again! Glad to see it. The baby looks happy and healthy - congrats!

I love the quote. It's not set to a tune, is it?

Hey Hero Bill,
It isn't as easy to keep up on posts these days. Thanks for the encouragement!

The little princess is doing great, no permanent plans have been finalized yet, but we love having her for as log as we can.

The words from Saint Patrick's breastplate were used in a song by a contemporary singer, sorry I can't think of his name right now.
